Jive Plastic products has been established as a dedicated manufacturing subsidiary with a focus on producing plastic bottle forms. Jive Plastics has substantially invested in the past two years in order that its output capacity be increased from 30 million bottle forms per year to a design capacity of 100 million bottles per year. The substantial capital expenditure in the 2021 – 2022 years comprised the importation and commissioning of a new blow moulding plant and an independent power generation plant to ensure continuity of production, even when electricity supply outages are in effect.

The plant is housed entirely within the group’s premises in Germiston, SA. The facility is a licensed and approved production unit by Coca Cola inc., as the majority of its output is destined to bottled mineral water that is produced and distributed under license of Coca Cola group, with its main destination market being DRC.
